Soul Sundays are back! Our three course Sunday roast is perfectly accompanied by the sweet sounds of soul, this week provided by Riva.
Riva is known for her startlingly deep, expressive contralto vocals and the inclusion of an eclectic mix of musical genres within her repertoire, including soul, dance, pop, jazz, and rhythm and blues.
She boasts a wealth of performance experience for someone so young, having first studied music at the prestigious Academy of Contemporary Music in Guildford which trained the likes of Ed Sheeran among others.
Riva’s debut EP was recorded at the internationally renowned Abbey Road Studios by drum and bass producer Wickaman, and signed to London based independent label, Fame Music.
Drawing artistic inspiration from Sade, Shakira, Amy Winehouse and Adele, Riva’s is a voice that consistently melts audiences and defies expectation.
The menu includes three courses, including a sharing or individual roast with all the trimmings, and half a bottle of wine per person, for £40.
