Madison Unplugged presents Michael Rice on Tuesday 4th February.
Unplugged is an exciting weekly line up of both emerging talent and accomplished music artists performing original hits and covers providing an intimate dinner in an acoustic setting.
Michael Rice is a 22-year-old singer songwriter from the north east of England.
Michael’s early career started out with him being a busker performing on streets to passerby’s, but it was only when a video of him singing went viral across social media, that he was spotted & invited to audition for a new BBC singing show ‘All Together Now’.
Michael went on to become the 1st ever winner of the show, landing him the opportunity to represent the UK at the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest. His song ‘Bigger than us’ went on to hit the charts in Sweden, Denmark as well as landing him his first UK Top 10 single.
