Madison Unplugged presents New Familiar on Tuesday 1st September
Unplugged is an exciting weekly line up of both emerging talent and accomplished music artists performing original hits and covers providing an intimate dinner in an acoustic setting.
Newfamiliar are a 3 piece band based in West Yorkshire, the band is made up of a blend of vocalists, songwriters and musicians creating a deep storytelling, indie / soul sound soaked in harmonies and acoustic guitar.
Newfamiliar signed to RCA Records in 2017 under their previous alias Skinny Living and then to Polydor in 2019. The same year saw them have their tracks featured on the likes of Clash Magazine, play over 250 shows, as well as being selected for Live at Leeds, then in 2020 Newfamilar toured with The Kaiser Chiefs. The band has had over 50 million streams across Spotify and Apple Music, Radio 1 play for songs such as ‘Why’ and ‘No Messiah’ plus continuous support from BBC Introducing.
